Responsibilities
- Work independently to determine provider eligibility for medical assistance programs
- Independently approves provider revalidations, updates, and applications
- Conducts thorough reviews for completeness
- Verifies critical documents
- Analyzes records, cases, and situations
- Counsel providers on policies and procedures
- Enters comments and required checklists into ProviderOne
- Independently answers provider inquiries
- Reviews and verifies provider information for accuracy and completeness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a closely related field, and one (1) year of the required experience
- Five (5) years of the required experience
- One (1) year as a Medical Assistance Specialist 2
