Special Ed Teacher

A K-12 educational setting in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for contract assignments during the current school year.

• Providing targeted emotional support to K-2 students, supporting their integration in general education settings, and supervising associated paraprofessionals and behavior technicians
• Delivering specialized autistic support to grades 3-5 with the assistance of multiple paraprofessionals and behavior techs, addressing varying behavioral challenges
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student goals
• Maintaining ongoing communication with school staff, families, and service providers to promote student success

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (no pending or emergency certificates)
• Experience working with K-5 students requiring emotional support or autism-related services
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and behavior technicians to enhance student learning and behavior management
• Strong classroom management and individualized instructional skills tailored to student needs
