Special Ed Teacher

A K-12 school in Allentown, PA, is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for a contract position during the current school year.

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to elementary students with emotional and autistic support needs.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and behavior technicians to facilitate effective classroom management and individualized student support.
• Adapt teaching strategies for students placed in both general education and specialized environments.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters learning and growth.

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (no pending or emergency permits).
• Experience or aptitude working with students requiring emotional support or autistic support.
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals and behavior technicians effectively.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
