About the role
We are seeking a detail oriented and technically skilled Business Analytics team member to join our Data Analytics and Innovation organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and data driven solutions. You will work closely with the Deposits business in Wealth Management to gather requirements, analyze complex datasets and deliver actionable insights leveraging your proficiency in SQL, Python and tools like Dataiku to drive business outcome.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Deposits team to provide solutions to their reporting and analytics needs that will enable data driven decision making.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
- Deliver actionable insights through data analysis, reporting and visualization.
- Leverage Dataiku to design, build, and deploy data workflows, ensuring scalability, accuracy and reliability
- Support the development of dashboards, reports and visualizations using tools like PowerPoint and Tableau
- Design and implement ongoing performance metrics, KPIs and dashboards to monitor business performance.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of the data used for decision making
- Contribute to the improvement of internal data Analytics capabilities and best practices
- Engage with our technology partners to deliver on business requirements, including ensuring availability of data
- Collaborate with other Data, Analytics and Innovation areas to bring the full suite of solutions to our business partners, including GenAI and Next Best Action opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a business/data analyst role, ideally within the Wealth Management environment
- Strong coding and scripting skills (e.g., SQL, Python, etc); Dataiku experience is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, highly adaptive and able to work well in a demanding environment
- Collaborative partner and teammate focused on franchise-level results
