Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail.
- Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence with policies on Security, performance, longevity, and Integration testing.
- Understand, debug existing systems, and propose new, alternative technology to make them more scalable and achieve results.
- Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Provide your input in design discussions.
- Develop knowledge to act as a domain expert, share business and technical insights with the team and broaden engineering and product organization.
- Collaborate inclusively with cross-functional team members to develop product solutions that help improve health outcomes for patients.
- Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and support athenaOne customers.
- Demonstrate ownership for what you and the team build and deploy in production.
- Take lead on RCA discussions, production issues and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial software development experience with significant product development expertise dealing with large scale.
- Extensive knowledge of modern programming languages/application development frameworks such as: Java, JavaScript, Spring framework.
- Experience working with established large codebase, added Advantage: Full stack development experience.
- Experience of Distributed systems and Microservices.
- Good working experience with Perl/Python & Unix scripting skills,
