• Participate in a multidisciplinary consultation team addressing high-acuity behavioral challenges in psychiatric inpatients.
• Manage the full referral process, including triage, case review, clinical assessment, and implementation of treatment recommendations.
• Deliver micro-trainings to treatment teams focused on patient engagement strategies and ward safety practices.
• Conduct behavioral analysis through medical record review to identify intervention points and reduce behavioral acuity.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group therapies, psychoeducation, and clinical assessments for referred patients.
• Coach and model therapeutic interventions for treatment teams to replicate effective strategies with referred patients.
• Complete all required documentation in alignment with hospital policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in ongoing training, refresher courses, and continuing education sessions.
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and model crisis management techniques using least restrictive interventions.
• Engage in meetings across departments to plan, recommend, and evaluate treatment strategies and represent the BMT as needed.

• Professionals with a master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, school psychology or marriage and family therapy from an accredited school.
• Within 30 days of hire, a certification as an Agency Affiliated Counselor in the State of Washington must be obtained or an active WA State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
