Facility Warehouser

The Warehouser is responsible for logistics, shipping and receiving of goods. Follows established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.

• Receive and unload incoming goods.
• Visual control of any transport damages and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label and store goods in appropriate locations; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Pack goods according to ADR standards.
• Load goods onto forwarding truck; observe load securing of goods.
• Observe personal protective equipment and vehicle equipment of forwarder according to ADR standards.
• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records.
• Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules).
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.
• Care and maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Maintain EHS standards within the warehouse at all times.
• Complete deliveries to customers when required adhering to ADR standards at all times.
• Housekeeping in warehouse and surrounding area.
• Perform other routine clerical activities as required according to the organization’s established procedures.

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse / driver role.
• Safe handling with chemical goods/products.
