About the role
The Community Corrections Officer 2 (CCO2) position is a full-time, permanent position within the Community Corrections Division. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor. If you are currently working an alternate work schedule, please be aware that this position may not be able to honor that schedule. For questions, please contact the Human Resource Office.
Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other agencies

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in corrections
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a physical exam
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Knowledge of community corrections principles
- Knowledge of laws and regulations
- Ability to analyze data
- Ability to make sound judgments
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
