All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Benefits from Day One Paid Days Off from Day One Student Loan Repayment Program Career Development Whole Person Wellbeing Resources Schedule: Full Time Shift : Days Location : AdventHealth Waterman Outpatient Imaging Center The community you'll be caring for : 1922 SALK AVENUE, Tavares, 32778 The role you'll contribute: Assists physicians in cases of adverse reaction, performance of interventional/biopsy procedures using sterile technique & in acute emergencies when necessary. Performs duties in compliance with universal precaution, infection control, medical records charting/documentation and patient safety requirements. Responsible for triaging patient load, managing workflow to provide effective & efficient patient care & service. Properly utilizes ultrasound designated disinfection system, cleans probes & Ultrasound devices according to protocol. Maintaining ancillary equipment associated with the patient such as IV Pumps, chest tubes, O2 during exam & reporting malfunction and/or complications to appropriate caregiver. Utilizes computer system within the hospital guidelines, proficient in required computer programs to perform daily job function and effectively communicates via email with professionalism. Completes medical records according to policy and procedures for exams being performed and transmission of electronic imaging to PACS. The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications : Graduate of AMA approved Ultrasound program ARDMS certification OB/GYN & abdominal skills 2 Work Experience Preferred qualifications : Associate's Degree This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
Responsibilities
