About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our K–5 team. This position serves students with Autism, providing individualized instruction and support in alignment with IEP goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with Autism
- Adapt lessons and instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development
Requirements
- Valid CDE Special Education License (Colorado Department of Education)
- Experience working with students on the Autism spectrum preferred
