About the role
Responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.
The value you'll bring to the team: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds. Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologists scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques. Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equivalent [Required] Registered Technologist Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT))[Required] Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
